2021 IMS Outdoors Locations Announced

The locations of the IMS Outdoors will be announced today noon today on the IMS website: https://outdoors.motorcycleshows.com/
Here's a spoiler... the northeast location will be in Brooklyn, NY over Labor Day weekend.

The inaugural Progressive® IMS Outdoors schedule is here! We are visiting nine U.S. markets at outdoor venues in the Summer and Fall of 2021 to bring you a weekend full of immersive powersports experiences. Both riders and those interested in riding can expect 2 and 4-wheel demos, rider education, entertainment, custom and vintage bikes, premier brands to shop, RVs and electrics to explore and more.

The northeast location has been announced to be in Brooklyn, NY - however the specific venue has not been announced. This may delight some within the 5 boros and surrounding tri-state area. I can only wonder what demo rides within the city will be like. I am more than a bit disappointed. I see I am not alone...

One of the locations scouted and not chosen was Lime Rock Park, nestled in the corner of northwest Connecticut. COG had a couple of rallies in Lakeville, CT and there is some great riding in the area - not only for the manufacturer demo rides, but also for attendees who will ride in for the event. Maybe another time.

Well the only spot I can think of off the top of my head for this in Brooklyn is Floyd Bennett Field, but ya never know. Maybe Army Terminal area in Bay Ridge?
