2025 Longest Day Ride

It's happening again this year, but this year it's happening a week later than it normally would. I was looking at the COG calendar and thinking about rushing home after the National in New Mexico and hosting that ride the next day and I didn't like the look of that, so I decided to push the Longest Day Ride to the following Saturday. Even if I don't go to the National, there might be a few of you usual suspects who would not want to try to ride a saddlesore 1000 and then do another 500+ miles the next day. So Saturday, June 28th we'll be leaving Denny's at (or probably some time after) 9am. I'll be there for breakfast about 8am, complete with a full tank of gas.
I submitted the event to the calendar 12 minutes ago, so there's no link yet. When it get's posted to the calendar a link will be provided in this thread, so check back for updates.
 
Hello Everyone - The 2025 Longest Day Ride is on the COG Event Calendar and is open for registration. There is no registration fee, but please register online so Charlie can plan for the right number of attendees. If your plans change, you can easily cancel your registration online.

I would love to attend this ride. Unfortunately, since my knee surgery has proven to be a resounding success. I temporarily lost my grasp on reality and signed up for a 1/2 IronMan race just 3 weeks after this ride. It will be very deep into my training when this ride happens, and I don't dare take the chance on a mishap that close to my race.

I hope you get fantastic weather and all have a banner day of riding, chatting, BS-ing, and eating!
