Alternator upgrade for C10

Hi, I recall reading about fitting a different alternator, which gave a substantial increase to the Ampage/output.
Sadly none of the 'old' links don't work sincethe site got messed with :confused:
Anyone remember anything, or have a link?

I believe to access the old links ( archives) a membership is required.
The upgrade was an alternator from a ZR 1200. I could be wrong, if
so I am sure someone will correct my post.
 
The alternator upgrade was harvested from a ZZR1200. Brock Delp wrote up instruction son his personal web site, that is linked to on the forum somewhere in a post. Use the forum search feature using appropriate search strings.
