Anyone using a Tablet GPS, how did you mount it?

I have a few Garmins and also a ruggedised 7" tablet I use as a gps.
My smaller garmins were an easy mount, using a clutch lever ram ball mount.

The Tablet has been a challenge, due to its size I like to keep it in the middle/between the bars and under the line of sight of the instruments.
On other bikes I could mount a ram ball between the bars replacing one of the handle bar mount bolts, but there is not enough room on the C14, the ball ends up too close to the bar riser to get a ram mount on.
Things are a little tight between the bars too.

Curious if anyone has come up with a good idea.

That's big. When I put the risers on my C-14 (from Murph's) I added a Ram ball between the bars. There's a tapped screw hole in each so you can choose which side to use. I think you could get a long(er) Ram mount (they come in different lengths) and move the tablet toward you and not center it in the middle of the bars.

I've used a Roadgear Large tank bag for 16 years, they have a large clear top "mapcase", and my tablet slips right in there conveniently.. very secure, and the bag dampens any vibrations quite well...

Mine is the "jumbo" version, it's very expandable, but when loaded with just a few items it sits pretty low, when I strap a small bungy across it to compress it... well worth it...
