Hasman is ready to go Back to the Shack at Randy's. I'm coming on Friday with a meet up at Chico's for lunch. Also, Maury is coming again,(guest) with his Vulcan, as is Mike Pierce on his RT. Who wants to meet at Chico's about noon ?

Hey we got a good group to start off the annual Back to the Shack event, I’m in on the Chico’s lunch break, they should be open but I’ll check. The roads are in great shape, grills are waiting in anticipation, plenty of wood for the bonfire, croaking frogs and random woodland critters making appearances. It’s summertime in Minnesota up in the lake county, it’s a good time to be here.

I am planning to come up Friday afternoon, hopefully a little earlier arrival than last year. I am also trying to talk a guy from Arkansas to come up, hopefully his high mileage bike can make it.

Chico’s is on 169 and 21 south of Onamia and Mille Lacs Lake. There will be a tent or two available and also a loft bed for those that might want to pack lighter. I’m considering doing a Mississippi headwaters tour, started it last year but some storms thwarted that.

I have to pull out. Helped a brother remove a tree from his yard last Sunday. Apparently did something to my back. Riding would be hard, sleeping on the ground impossible. I spoke with Cliff, and we are both out......The weather looks like it will be outstanding.

Yep, it is too bad you aren't going to make it.
My plans have changed also, I am still coming but I won't be there until Saturday AM and I am making it a day ride and not staying overnight Saturday.
If Google maps is correct it's just under 3 hours so if I'm on the road by 6 I'll be there around 9.
