The Brrr ride celebrates the drawing to a close of the riding season (for most of us) and has long been a staple of the COG NE calendar --- especially for the āCOG Camping Crazies.ā
Camping, Cabins or Hotels, all are welcome to join for rides, food and of course, Campfires!

Looks like it is. Hours 7am - 8pm AND, it looks like they still have liver and onions on their menu! Oorah!
Ditto that! Haven't stayed there since the 2009 Spring Fling.

Labor Day has come and gone, there is a slight chill in the air and leaves are falling.

Autumn has now arrived! Not only are the Flame bushes well, flaming, but the calendar says Fall.

Checked the heated grips I installed on the Ryker shortly after I got it, AND my Gerbings jacket early this past Sunday morning when I took a leisurely ride over to the Piankatank River with a friend to check out his new boat. Little nippy early on, but both heat sources worked fine; we was comfy.Donāt forget to check your electrics and charge your batteries for Brrrrr!

Your last trip to Natural Bridge didn't end well if I remember correctly!My work hours are changing next week so I can get the time off to come. But the room block at the resort has expired; the Budget Inn has no availability; the KOA is down to one expensive Cabin or I can get a Tent Site. I'm too old and out of shape for tent camping.

That is putting it mildly. A deer strike on VA-130 totaled #2.
I was left scrambling the next morning trying to find a way to get home after almost everyone else had departed. 
Luckily, once I got home, I was able to purchase #3 in time to escort the 2009 OTP Traveler, Wolfram Tege, on the last leg of his trip from Maryland to New Jersey. He stayed with Vicki & I and we took him sight seeing in NYC and handle the return of his C-14 loaner.

Found a deal online via Priceline for $98.29 per night at the Natural Bridge Hotel. I called the hotel and sent them a screen shot of the deal and they matched the price. So I'm all booked. Now I just have to survive the ride on VA-130 from the BRP to the hotel. Am I pressing my luck by riding the same route I did on my last visit to Natural Bridge that put me in an ambulance?

I should be there as well. Gonna leave here sometime in the a.m. and meander around headed that way. Check in is not until 4:00 so I'll have some time to kill,
I was planning on heading to Harrisburg tonight so I could ride more local roads the rest of the way to Natural Bridge on Thursday. But unfortunately there is a line of severe thunderstorms I'd have to ride through from Allentown to Harrisburg.
Waiting out the thunderstorms would mean riding in the wee hours with RealFeelĀ®temperatures in the mid to low 30s. So it looks like my plans are changing and I will be riding the Interstate all the way to Natural Bridge tomorrow.Musta been an oops in the description text, for the calendar timeline shows it ending on the 9th. The hotel's electronic banner in the lobby also showed it ending on the 9th.Imagine how surprised I was when I got back to the hotel after riding on Sunday, the 9th, to find mine was the only motorcycle here!I mean the listing for the event says it ends on the 10th! Why'd everyone leave? Do I have bad breath?
Not sure how that happened, but for me I had to leave regardless. Have to get my wife to the hospital tomorrow morning for a medical procedure.

I didn't leave Sunday with John Micah because of the threat of cold rain along the I-81/I-78 corridor. Rain in the 40s is much worse than air temperature in the 30s.
