Can lowering links be safely removed?

Big Wheel
Hi,

One of the bikes I'm considering to purchase has been lowered. I don't know which kit was used, so I guess this will be a general question. Can the links be removed or is it a permanent condition?

TIA,
Steve

Usually it's just a shorter link in the suspension. You can take the
link out, if you don't replace it the bike will be real low.

2, there is a pair of them. The stock links will be shorter due to the rear suspension geometry.

Also, you'll want to drop the front tubes in the triple tree if the PO lowered the front when he lowered the rear which is normal.

Ahh, okay. So I'd just need a stock link to replace it with?

Yes.
NOTE: The stock Link is shorter than the Lowering Link that is on your bike.
Available on Ebay...
Can be changed out in about 15-30 minutes.

Ride safe, Ted
