CDA Broken Right Mirror (mount only??) Help!!

(Not sure if the first post came through...)

So I rolled up to a parking spot on a slopped lot. Dropped on the right side. Sigh...Broke the right mirror bracket, I think. PLEASE help with these questions:

1. Clymer says I need to take off the lower, middle, and upper fairings to get at the mirrors. Is that right?? If not, how do I easily get at the mirros?

2. Where is the best place to get a new mirror bracket or other replacement parts for whatever is broken?

I really do NOT want to take this to the local bike shop to get it fixed when I think I could do it with a little help from my friends :)
PLEASE help a guy out.

Thanks in advance!

I am not sure if anyone is issuing new numbers for drops anymore?

If I were you I would post your repair question to the correct area.  There you may get an answer faster.  I hope to never know the answer.

Had the same problem a while back: zero speed drop, slopped road, couldn't find my right footing, by the time i did, weight was already too much due to angle, bike went down on the right side.

hated seeing the mirror all scuffed, so I purchased a new one.

To install it, you need to remove the upper right cowling (the black flimsy plastic that covers the upper right side of the tank). I believe you also need to remove the side fairing, but don't quote me on it. maybe these pictures will help you
