Scott Lohnes, Steve Larson, and Michael Mar are organizing an event June 1-4.  Our base camp for Thursday and Friday nights (June 1-2) will be the Motel 6 in Redmond.

There are others accommodations nearby - the Redmond Inn, Super 8, Comfort Suites, and Best Western are all within a couple of blocks and offer a variety of price and quality levels.

Saturday night (June 3) base will be at the Eldorado Inn in Baker City.

A second viewpoint above Rattlesnake Creek after passing through a steep canyon section following the John Day River, then lunch in John Day.

After this we'll visit Sumpter if anyone wants to check out the old gold dredging machine.
