I read you should change the battery in the transponder every year is it just a regular 3 volt battery or something special.

owners manual?

CR2032.. when it goes titsup..  any drug store has them, just get fresh ones.
I carry a pack all the time, change them when needed... usually every 4 years..

Nah MOB - CR2025 if the OP is talking about the fob transponder  :beerchug:  A 32 will fit in the fob but he's in the Tires section so ....?

Yes, I think what I read was it would fit with modification. Don't think I'd try modifying such a costly piece.
