Alright folks, looks like riding will be nice this SUNDAY, the 23rd of November, 2014!!!!  :motonoises:

How about a SHORT FUSE Ride to Eat out to the Shed in Edom, Tx. I know some nice twisties out to the east and the food/PIE is great at the Shed.

http://www.theshedcafe.com/

Looks like very nice riding weather with mid 50s in the morning to 70s in the afternoon. I was thinking KSU at the SE corner of US 80 and Beltline Road in Mesquite about 10AM at the Shell just west of the Taco Cabana. I know the calendar entry says 0900, but there was a problem changing the buffer for the event.

Please respond if you want to join in!!!!! There's decent roads and almost all of the route to the east is rural.

The calendar entry for this ride is below, please note we are meeting at 10AM in Mesquite if you are in DFW and want to join. Lunch should be between 12 and 12:30 at The Shed.

Outstanding !!!! I suspect we will be there 12PM to 12:30PM and if we are early we'll wait if you want to join us for a nice luncheon.

Craig

I'm gonna' try and participate (I've got in-laws visiting this weekend, might be able to sneak away).  Do you have an address for the meet-up place by chance, for those of us who haven't been in the area?

Bob, Bill, Darryl, Jim, Mr. Cooper and If your name is not here then PIPE UP!

Next RTE will be up to the NW so I get home later and you all will not have to brave the traffic.

Thanks Bob! It was my pleasure to serve.

Dan put a bug in my ear about a Spring AR ride (non-camping) and I am goung to chat with our esteemed AD concerning this possibility.

I think early May is a good time, although that is not that far from the 2015 National.

This in no way is meant to detract from Cliff's get together, but there are folks who eschew camping/rides and although I can camp with the best of them, Pamela is definitely in the NON CAMP crowd! :truce:

I will spawn this into another thread after consultation so we can gauge interest in maybe a Russellville based ride for the springtime. This area gives fantastic choices for great roads and there's more than adequate digs/restaurants there. Mena is another possibility as it would likely be attended, but longer rides to the stellar roads north of I 40.

Enough......I am already stepping on toes (and that's what is likely needed!)!!  :pokestick:

Craig

It was a great day to Ride. Sorry we did not have the time to chat more at the Shed. I love that the place was full of Connie's. Here are a few pics from our ride yesterday as well. I will keep an eye out for your next ride, so we can tag along.
