Late notice anyone want to ride looking at Shamokin area for Sunday late morning / early afternoon.

Wind farms, Gold Mine Rd, other secret routes 🤫

Heading back from northern PA / unfortunately too many rough roads - need to set that straight!

For itinerary consideration - not expecting any takers on only moment’s notice. Should be a fun afternoon, weather looks good.

We are about 20 miles north of Philadelphia but here are some stop / rally points.
  1. 10:00 ⏱ kickstand up
  2. 10:45 ☕️ / 🍩 stop @ Quakertown Dunkin Donuts
  3. 12:45 ⛽️ Stop @ Jonestown Speedway HWY 72
  4. ~1:00 - ~3:30 100 miles+ awesome PA ⛰ twisties and handful roadside view / thermos water stops
  5. 3:30 slab it back south
  6. 4:30 @ Beltzerville Grill for dinner
  7. 🏁 Home

Saddling up @ DD Quakertown - next stop Speedway Jonestown...

Then the mtns are calling!

Fun roads, little hot - swampy 92*F at one point -...

The C-14 gotta love it - more than enough power to hotdog (mine a little more - 17’ Blue is the fastest comet -) and tons of enclosed storage capacity.

Stopped off at Cabela’s today my wife got a new pair of Merrels and Keens for me. These fit into the bags atop current boots, other riding gear (cold & hot), sustenance (granola, hangry bars, iced tea, water) two sets of Leki hiking poles, bag of electronics to electrify a 3rd world country.

Some pics of a stop - falls and a well.
