For me, the biggest reason to get a flash was the jerky on-off throttle response. Shoodaben flash fixed that.

The biggest problem with the flash is that it has gotten rather difficult to get past 6000 rpm. Need a lot of straight road to do that.
 
I am running Steve's MRP flash ( I was previously running his Decel flash). I can attest that it is indeed way smoother. The power increase is awesome, plus as a great secondary bonus; it will give you better gas mileage! I have put thousands of dollars of farkles on my bike, and this is definately the absolute best bang for your buck.
