Garmin 660 M/C mount

I am looking for the motorcycle mount for a Garmin 660 GPS.
It's the one with a lead for power, data connection & audio cable.
I am not looking for the car mount, I already have a bracket setup
just need the cradle that holds and powers the GPS. PM me or
rwulf@chartermi.net works also.
Thanks

Good luck!  I lost the plastic dust cover for my 660 mount, and garmin no longer supports this model.  I tried to find one on ebay, and they wanted 44 dollars for an 8 dollar part.  I am not ready to upgrade yet  :truce:

Thanks Mike I am finding it hard to find, and expensive. I lost an auction
Saturday on one in the UK. This is fore a second bike I have. If necessary
I will make the mount into some kind of quick swap setup.

I know you said not the car mount but They are MUCH cheaper & all you have to do is cut the power plug off the end & hard wire it into your Motorcycle  :beerchug:

Zarticus thanks for your responce. I have thought of that and you are right, it's cheaper.
The down side is they are not water proof, also the mount vibrates a lot. This is not
mounted on a Concours, it's going on a KLR.
Thanks

Ha, that changes everything.  I was often ridiculed by the KLR folks for not using some duct tape/bailing wire solution on my Gen 1.  They would also give me a hard time putting a high dollar farkle on a low dollar bike.  :rotflmao:

But in all seriousness, I would want the M/C specific for the durability.

Thanks Mike. I have tried again to buy one off e-bay. This will be my
third attempt. I will tell you I am having fun with this rat bike KLR. It
may not be pretty but it gets the job done.

Yes good luck   My harness fried and I could not get another. I ended up giving the unit away with the bad harness and the member was able to fix the wiring.  If you yell loud enough Garmin gave me the new one for 300 or 350 if I remember correctly for being a good customer

Your right Clem, I am not to pleased with Garmin. There concern for
previous customers is not very helpfull. Next GPS will NOT be a Garmin.
