Well, northern hemisphere racing is pretty much over for this year, but the world's most grueling, demanding and difficult race is just spinning up- in South America! We even have an American rider in the race, a privateer even- Jonah Street from the PNW! If you've been following the rally the past few years you will already know that Jonah has made a fine showing for a racer with no factory support, winning several stages and finishing, what, 3 out of 4 years? Separate categories for cars, trucks, ATV's, and of course, bikes- incredible stuff. Check out the links below, and especially Jonah Street's site- buy a t-shirt (from Touratech, a major sponsor) and help support his team!

Here's the route, but there's much more info on the main website. I believe it was Versus channel that provided daily highlight coverage the last few years, and it looks like they will again, along with OLN. Not the best by any stretch, but better than nothing; keep hoping for the HD camera revolution to catch up with this race. The main website has the best updates, and there's a free iPhone and Android app for your phone to get them anywhere!
