Hi All, I would like to install some grip shields for cold weather riding. I prefer to stay "passive" with the cold weather stuff and avoid added electrical accesories like heated grips. Has anyone found a set/kit that fits the 95 Connie well and looks reasonably nice too? I have a wide Clearview shield and the fairing extenders installed. I stay fairly warm with the exception of my hands (the worst), top of my thighs and back. I have some lexan cut out at home to extend the extenders about an inch...just too many other things on the "list" at the moment...maybe soon. I would appreciate all opinions on this course....shields vs. heated grips. THX Ralph :)

I now am the proud owner of a set of HippoHands. I too recommend these fine devices to be installed. Sound too much like a poor ad? Well they work, easy to install and remove, but more importantly easy to pull your hands out and put in without worrying about any "reacquisition issues". I vote for the Hippo Hands too. Add some grip heaters and you are good down to some REALLY cold temps.
