Help Identify Wire

Having a brain fart.
Disconnect battery and not sure if one wire should be attached to the positive or negative post.
Comes from seat side of battery box,
The wire is black with yellow strip covered by a 1/4” diameter black plastic sleeve.

Mine doesn't have your blue plastic sleeve, but the black w/yellow stripe wire is connected to frame ground as shown in the attached photo.

Don't forget to clean up all the connections, both sides of each ring lug going to the frame ground should be clean, the brass should be bright when done and the connection point on the frame nice and clean.

Its a good thing you asked, If you mixed those up I think it can get real expensive real fast.

Part of the confusion is Honda uses black with yellow stripe for power wires, and Kawasaki uses the same colors for ground wires.
