I'm happy y'all enjoyed it. Too bad about Brian's "incident" but ... .  :??:

Kinda sorry I missed it but then I spent 4 days riding around in the NC mountains (Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, Moonshiner 28, et.al.). Even did some easy dual sport riding in the Joyce Kilmer Forest. I did experience some rain on Saturday but it came in after 8:00pm so I wasn't caught in any of it.

Well it's officially over. Al & Roman just left headed there separate ways.

I wish the weather could have been better. Friday was stormy, but Sat. was nice everyone got out for a ride. Sun. was nice, Al, Roman & myself got out for a ride after everyone else had left.

I want to give a big thanks to everyone that showed up, pitched in with help or donated anything. If I name names I'll probally leave someone out. You know who you are, thanks.

I enjoyed it & had a great time, now it's time to get some rest!

I didn't take many pictures, but here's a few. Hopefully Leo from MO. will post some, he was taking a lot of pictures.

Alan, I didn't write down who got what. I should have, but it slipped my mind. I'll tell you what I gave away best I can remember.

3 Kawasaki jackets, valued between $190.00 - $240.00 ea.
5 6packs of Kawasaki synthetic motor oil - $70.00 ea.
2 Kawasaki backpacks - $60.00 ea.
3 Kawasaki detail gift sets. $45.00 ea.
1 6pack of Kawasaki glass tumblers.

I had various other things that were given away for prizes.

Also had a table with AR state maps, AR motorcycle guides, Kawasaki cozies, kickstand pucks & ear plugs. All for the taking if you wanted it.

Ya should of been here, you might be sporting a new 3 in one Kawasaki jacket  :nananana:!

:)  Thanks for the info. Nice of ROK to make the contribution and thanks to you for making it happen.  I keep looking at the trees on your fire.    AWESOME!!  :))

Of course the big deal was Cliff giving back his 50/50 winnings to the OtP fund, and Mark raffling off his new Kawasaki jacket to the tune of 125.00. I'll be sending our treasurer a check for $400.00...That's very generous of everyone, and should bring my buddy Ralph. Over also as a second traveler. You guys are special. Stuck in Corpus Christi getting a new rear tire mounted today, but the ride to South Padre Island made it ok. Thanks for the hospitality Cliff. We didn't put mu h of a dent in the leftover food and beer, but Roman & I gave it our best. See you knuckleheads soon

once again the guy who does NOT need any more stuff, won more stuff. very nice kawasaki 3-n-1  jacket. ive been downsizing my life and dont have room or need much else, So I promptly sold it and donated it to otp.  for years i went to rallies and never won anything, thats 2 for 2,  personally im waiting on the powerball :beerchug:

the rally was awesome despite the weather, the ride saturday was great altho it is a challenge to keep a KLR up with a pack of ST bikes.

cliff, thanks for putting this on. it means a lot to me to just get out with friends and play and you provided a perfect venue.

Picked up my new ride today. Had it up to 28 mph today, scared the hell out me :)) :motonoises:

28mph?! You can drag a knee at 28mph on The Dragon :rotflmao:

Hope you heal quickly - your good attitude will surely help :great:

:beerchug:

Wanted to tell everyone that a check in the amount of $400.00 is on its way to the COG Treasurer on Monday. Thanks to all for their generosity, and to especially Mark and Cliff for the generous  contribution back to the OtP fund from their separate windfall.
COG members continue to surprise me with their generosity all the time, and the Horseshoe Mountain Rendezvous attendees proved that point again.
Had a great month of riding, got to see a lot of my COG friends from around the country, and put some faces to new names. I got Cliff started down this path, and I'm not about to let him stop. Hope to see you all at the 2017 Horseshoe Mountain Rendezvous #4. Better weather is the only way to improve on this event.
Thanks Cliff. :-*

Don't give up the ship Cliff. This year was a fluke. Speaking for myself, and I know everyone will agree. I made the best out of the weekend. At least Friday night I did, whatever amount of it I can remember.

For me it was enjoying the downtime. Rode very hard on the way down and had a relaxing weekend hanging at the ranch. I could not have asked to have a better bunch of folks to spend the weekend with and for me, that's what its all about.

I know you, Jimmie and the girls put forth a lot of effort to make the event the best there is. If I can help out to lessen the burden, put me in. I'll even stay sober :beerchug: :)

From one beer lush to another; the first part yes, the second part of that.....a big maybe.
We all had a good time. Just some of us more than others.

:agree: And try to arrange a little bit better weather, maybe? Possibly? I'm skeered of tornados (BTDT in Tomah a few years back). :??:

My plans are to return. I missed not seeing y'all, and next year I will have a little more vacay time. >:D You've got some awesome roads that I've not seen yet, but have heard much chatter.
