There may be some riders that want to continue Camping at the Burr Ride. This Last Chance Weekend is an alternative Motel event.

Just called to book a room and they said they weren't supposed to take any reservations for that time in November. They're supposed to call me back to let me know. If there is a block of rooms set up, should not be an issue, but we shall see say.
Which begs the question: how many rooms did you block?

Super 8 - right across the road. 1-540-319-5329
Bestwestern Plus Inn at Hunt Ridge ¼ miles across the road 1-540-464-1500
Sleep Inn & Suites ¼ miles across the road. 1-540-463-6000
I would call ASAP and book a room. Sounds like there might be another event in the area that weekend.

It appears that Washington & Lee has a home football game plus the ODAC tournament that weekend. So there may be a lot of parents and alumni coming to town that weekend.
Just talked the general manager at the Wingate in Lexington.

They had a renovation project scheduled to start first week of November, but have postponed it due to supplies not arriving!

That sounds like where I'll be staying. Saving $40.00 per night is a good thing with Waffle House right next door.
Edit: May be I won't be staying at the Super 8. It is listed as not available on the Wyndham website. Tried calling the motel directly and I can't get anyone on the phone.
