Hi all, Was looking at the membership handbook and saw that there are 16 members who live in the great state of Alabama. Wondering if there is any interest in doing a meet and greet?

Where in Mississippi? I will look in that direction to see whats around to make it interesting.

STILL A GOOD IDEA! Here’s how we can approach it if you want to.
Set it up with Mark (see above) on the Events calendar, then either post it on the COG Facebook group page or send me the details and I’ll do it for you if you don’t do FB, and then I’ll send an email out to Miss, AL, GA and TN members.
Give it a few weeks and we’ll see what happens. Unfortunately, not everyone watches the forum. Let me know how I can help.

Ok. I have submitted the event submission form. My intention is to meet at Barbers motorsport park , meet , have lunch and go to the museum. I plan this as a 1 day event only. Looking at 9 Aug 2025. I live in Athens Al. It will take me about 2.5 hours or so to ride from my house to the track. If anyone wants to meet up along the way and ride together, so much the better.
Meet at the entrance at (time)? Lunch spot and time if someone misses the museum meet up? Also, do you want to put it on FB or have me do it?

Might be a long day for you but you are welcome to ride up .
I have put it on facebook. Looking at local restaurant's . Sad thing is that there is nothing really close.
Looking at a place , Rodney Scott Bbq. 312 Main St, Trussville, AL 35173to meet at 12ish for lunch. Then ride over to Barbers to check out the museum.
If I’m not mistaken, we had a RTE at this BBQ about 2021 or ‘22. It was pretty good and we all sat out on the porch because of Covid. It RAINED that day, bug it was fun!
Edit: Nope that was Bluegrass BBQ and it’s permanently closed. (But it was wet!)

I'm hoping the weather will cooperate. We have had a really wet summer this year.
