Memorial Day Weekend, Marietta Ohio 2026

someone asked why a change in locations....................

The Gang wanted to go to Athens. I inquired at the Inn and although I got a fair price, but it was $50 a night more than the Comfort Inn.
And the Lafayette is almost as expensive. There is also "construction" going on next to the Lafayette which will prevent Parking right there. Personally. I feel the Lafayette is getting old!
The MSTA gang uses this Comfort Inn every year. The sales lady was very easy to work with and I think $89 per night including breakfast is a great deal.
If we MUST go to town we can Uber.

Stayed in the Comfort Inn last August. Having "Wings Etc", IHOP, and Texas Roadhouse right there is convenient. But I recommend taking the ride to "Boathouse BBQ" on Virginia Street. It is so much better than a chain restaurant.

Mike, the boathouse is a great choice. As is the Harmar Tavern & the Busy Bee for Breakfast.
