Mondomoto light dead - troubleshooting ideas?

Hey all,

I have a dead mondomoto light. I haven't removed it yet, but I did check the marine connectors which were still seated well.

Can you open these up? I saw there were four screws on the face (beneath the screw-on lens). Any reason I can't get in there and check the connections?

I believe these are the same lights, maybe without the connector - they come with just the bare wires.

I think they are quite a bit lower than Mondolights charged, so if it will make you feel better, I would be more than happy to order one for you, and send it to you for only a 70% markup

I've used several sets of these on different bikes, and always happy with them.

I'd laugh...but I've got a set of the advmonster leds that i paid too much for.

Alright, guess I'll get another pair and hope for the best. What a price difference? Caveat emptor, right?!

Have you verified it's getting power?

A simple test is to switch the left and right connectors. You might need to loosen up some tie wraps to do it. I think the cable length will let you do that. Another option is to remove the lights and flip them left to right.
