New guy here from Southwest missouri, just picked up in 05 Concourse and I'm really excited to ride it.ordered some tires. You can't get it on the road because the tires are absolutely shredded. Getting ready To Do all the maintenance of changing the fluids And Wind Screen I've been working on Harley's for years and I've owned 16 gixxer's so I'm not new But it's been about 10 years since I've been on a sport bike. I miss horse power and the bike that actually handles. I haven't had cared bike in a while and I forgot about the peacock. I left it open overnight. Am I in trouble?20230406_181906.jpg

Please explain "you left it open".
The C-10 has a vacuum operated petcock. The valve positions are on, reserve, and prime.
On and reserve positions; the fuel flow is blocked by the vacuum system.
Prime position; bypasses the vacuum system.
Did you leave it in prime?
,,,, If yes, be careful when your ready to crank it.
If not on prime, you should be ok..

Ride safe, Ted

Turns out petcox have changed, I didn't know it didn't have an off position it's on on. Oil smells good. Maybe hyperventilating over nothing!
