Hey everyone just wanted to stop in and say hey from NC. Just bought a 2008 non ABS C-14 on 12/20. Looking forward to learning about the bike and getting out and enjoying some riding again (been without 2 wheels since spring!). Can't wait till warmer weather and meeting some of you all.

Jeff

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Sorry it took this long to respond but work got crazy. I've been on 2 wheels since I was 5 and on the street since I was 15 (will turn 50 this year). I had a 2000 ZRX1100 for 12 years and WISH I'd never gotten rid of her but I did. Had a 2007 Z1000, a dual sport and a Vstrom DL1000 but none of them really did it for me. Z1000 the wife was too uncomfortable on, with the dual sports she found out she wanted to be a passenger and the she actually liked the DL1000 but after about 50 miles I was ready to throw it on the ground and start walking it hurt my lower back so much (just coming off a back injury BTW). An aftermarket seat would have probably fixed that but I just didn't really feel the love for the big DL although it was a powerhouse. I sold it in the spring of 2019 and just now got a bike back, my 2008 C14. I love it, the wife loves it and we love riding it together. Man this bike has a lot of room. Here's a run down on it : 2008 non-ABS C-14 with just under 18k miles. Fully Muzzy exhaust, HUGE tank bag (not in picture), Corbin seat with backrest, rear luggage rack, ebc rotors, throttlemeister manual cruise control, Garmin Zumo 660 GPS, basically new Pirelli angel tires and some other odds and ends. I look forward to meeting up and riding with some of you all. I know some really good mountain loops in my area if anyone is interested.
