What are the factory springs rated for? I have a 2016. I guess they put a stiffer one in the rear for 14/15 and up? I'm going to have a suspension guy set mine up as best ad he could next week. I wish I could swing upgrades

who told u that....? Did u buy urs new or used? If used its possible the p.o. upgraded ....
Always heard Jap bikes were sprung for 150 .lb. people lol.. Bought mine new. Suspension is O.E.
unless u know something different, im pretty certain the spring rates didn't t change from 2008 to 2020. There have been several upgrades thru the years but i can't recall the stock suspension having been changed.
I read it here somewhere.

They did Increase 
the spring rate for 2015 and newer, I Bought a use shock with very low mileage on it, pre-2015 because it was way too stiff on the new one, much happier ) it works great now.
