Old, New Guy

Welcome fellow Washingtonian. Nice score! My wife said the same thing back in '17, "time to slow down, get a 'bagger', do a more leisurely pace on longer rides." (yeah, right.) You did keep the ZX though, right? My 05 is not ridden as much any more but still there are times when the pleasure of riding it fast far outweighs the pains it causes.

Thank you all for the welcome. To make room for the C-14, I sold my ZX10r and Yamaha VMax. I am putting my 1500 Vulcan Nomad on the block also. Too many toys. The only other bike I am keeping is a 84 Honda XL600R. My best friend gave it to me after I got it running after sitting in his garage for 25 years. He can no longer start it. Kick only.

I could not pass the C-14 up. It is a 2017 with only 5k miles. Not a mark on it. Looked like new. I am looking forward to meeting everyone on future rides.

Welcome to the COGdom David.
I knew you were joking about the "Big. slow bike".
Excuse the others (especially Harry). Sometimes they're a little slow.

Ride safe, Ted

PS: Because of your color choice, another slow guy (2and blue) will be along shortly to say hello, praise your color choices, and lie about me.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Don't believe him {and the others that will join him}. Their "all" just jealous of my RED Connie..
