Two times O'Reilly's has provided me with some hometown convenience. They had my sparkplugs when nobody else did (at 9:00pm on the weekend) so I gave them a call today and was rewarded for having done so. I got a new tire on Tuesday and was told I needed brake pads. They had the rear in stock, but not the front. It's a stock item so they said they'd probably have it the next day and I could come in and they'd go ahead and do it when I got there. I figured what the hell, I'll let'em do it. So I've been waiting for 4 days for the stealer to get my brake pads in and they haven't yet as of today. I'm leaving tomorrow for the beach so I decided to do it myself, which I should have done anyway. So I got on the phone this morning and called O'Reilly's to see if they had them. Yep, got two sets here in stock for $17.99 apiece. Why they don't sell both sets in one package I don't know. Who'd replace the pads on just one side of a dual disc system? That would be plain old dumb and dangerous. Anyway though, the point is that they're there, handy, they have what you need and it's relatively cheap. Can't beat that with a stick.
