Group, check your calendars and if interested in a whole day of spirited riding filled with plentiful twisties, river bottoms, deep woods, glances of the Delaware River valley on our way to riding large expansive reservoirs and overlooks - pencil this ride in.

Details to follow: registration, meetup location, route outline, GPX file, lunch.

Group - Saturday’s weather is looking tough for a day long ride, let’s continue to watch the forecast however looks like a scrub for this date.

No registration posted as of yet - will post some informal meetup details and ride / grub plans if weather improves.

Stay tuned,

Group May 8th is recovering nicely from the tough weather that scrubbed out 7-May plans - actually looking stellar👍! This is Mothers Day, expecting light interest. Although….. it will be a great day for the lucky wife, mother, girlfriend that shares in your motorcycling enthusiasm!

Small group coming together already, I’ll post the route and meetup options / times tomorrow. No official registration is posted.

For basic planning - expect a full day ride, possibly this is your first >500 mile day..? If you’re up for it stay tuned for communication of route, awesome food stops and highlights of what you’ll experience on this ride!

Guessing we have a 60% GO / 40% NO GO, weather is again eroding into a rainy day (at least the A.M. possibly)...

Here is an outline to the day if we get lucky with the weather, approximately 1/2 dozen rest stops mixed in and accounted for at 15 minutes each in the timing. Will confirm with weather and drop a GPX file Friday or Saturday - little less than organized arrangement, crazy busy these days... (guess good thing-I think)

Full route below is right at 500 miles - many great miles of twisties, rivers, woods, reservoirs, some farm, mountains - this ride has everything.

PA 191 (lots of traffic today so a little less fun than usual)

The route plotted around and across Pepacton and Cannonsville reservoirs more than made up made up for the bust further south in PA. Roads were in excellent shape with porous, grippy surfaces and mostly bump free for about 100 miles! Another great attribute - due to regulated use of the reservoirs and restrictions on building in the area it’s practically a ghost town… bit much for traffic at all and minimal cross roads.

Terry and I peeled some tar up for sure - sorry Terry looks you’ll need new tires sooner than thought!

Day was exactly 500 miles, KSU about 9 AM then back home for 8PM.
