Been riding with the Olympia RAT (Riders Assn of Triumph) group for many years. I would say they are similar to COG riders and ride what ya brung and the pace varies slightly depending on where in the group you are.
Had a blustery Spring ride yesterday (Sat) after meeting in Oly for coffee. Destination was to be Bay Center south of Raymond on US 101.
Always great to have the heated clothing. Traffic was not bad. After the recent high wind was riding moderate pace wondering how the less traveled road conditions were with debris. Only a few spots has minor limb remnants.
Was quite windy at times and heavy rain on return for 20 min thru OLY.
294 mi and 6.1 gal on one tank as washed bike toady and filled.
