Riding Grossglockner

I came across a YouTube video today of Grossglockner.  {Großglockner}

I decided to post it as I thought others would would enjoy it.  {??}

The video below was done on a clear day.
When we did it, it was very "Foggy". (2015}

Some may ask, how foggy was it? 
  It was so foggy that during the final assent up bikers point {seen at the end of this video} we had to turn on our 4 way
    flashers to see the bike in front of us to see each other. {at approx. 40 ft} Could not see their red tail light at that distance.
      At the time, I had no idea the road was 2 way, and beside me,,,, there was "nothing"...

Luckily, I was able to do the ride again in 2018 and the weather was clear.

If there is any interest {??} I'll try to get some photo's attached.
I ask others that have made the ride,,, post theirs too..

PS: This years "OtP" Traveler {Cliff Burnett} rode Großglockner last month.

Yes I rode it & it was amazing. Very nice clear day.

Yea, but I had my heated jacket somebody said I didn't need. Sure felt good!  :nananana: Also carried a plug to install on whatever bike I was riding.

Cliff, we need to get the pics you took and the pics I downloaded from the OTP facebook page in one spot.  PM me and we'll see about making that happen.  Hopefully when the new forum software is introduced, there will be a photo section that I can upload all of your pics to.
