The second of three planned Rides-to-Eat in Iowa will take place next Sunday afternoon.  Our lunch stop will be the Ankeny Diner, right off I-35 just north of Des Moines.  They have been recognized by the Iowa Beef Council for their burgers.  I hope we again see some central Iowa folks at this event.  And we'd be thrilled to see some Cornhuskers and other non-Iowans.  Scott Coberly is your host.

We had an excellent turnout at the first Iowa RTE of the year at the Hale Tap and Supper Club.  One rider came from the east coast (of Iowa) and a couple came from Wisconsin.  Thanks to Stan Hill for hosting.

OK I know I may not be great company but it would be great to get more than 3 people to this gathering... weather looks to be good day to waste a way on the bike. This location was chosen to try an be inclusive of the rest of the state. Be good to see some new faces.  ;)

Good food, good weather, good company.  Thanks for hosting, Cobber.  (Did you get enough bacon?)

Next scheduled Iowa RTE:  Sunday September 25 at Balltown.
