SE Minnesota Weekend

Spent the long weekend camping and riding in SE Minnesota. Base camp was at White Water State park. This is the area that had all the flooding last year. From our observations the roads were almost all back in shape and the area looked well on its way to recovery. Rode both County and State Hwys in the valleys, very fun rides with great scenery and good variety of twistys and hills. I had to attach one photo. It was taken at Beaver Creek Valley State Park. Who needs a KLR? More photos can be found at http://good-times.webshots.com/album/566278009qogsZH

That is actually a road inside the campground. When you look at the other photos you can see a small bridge. The river actually moved a 100 feet over into the hill where the road is now cutting a new channel leaving the old bridge and channel behind. Almost all the damage from one year ago has been repaired but they are not going to replace the road as they have another entrance. They are going to put a walking bridge in that location.
