never had a problem with em. The dealer told me that this tires was not designed for a concours. i laughed at said i’m headin to the dragon and northern tenn. the apex’s we’re super stable. even in the rain. i’m going to try their verge 016model next.
i run stallion sealant in also

I tried the verge & while they handle EXTREAMLY well, I only got 2600 miles out of the back tire. I've run threw a few sets of the Ravens averaging over 6,000 miles from the rears.

did you use verge regular or verge dual version 2?
 
ok, this verge 02 is a new compound. lets see how long it will go. if its less, i might go back the apex's. i have some ravens on my klr. not bad
 
My verge 011 did much better than the 016. 011 rear went 7000 miles. Just took the 016 off at 4000 with cord showing. It got very square too. Not sure what went wrong with the 016 but I liked the matched set of 011's much better. Now I'm trying the Avon's 3D XM since I found a 190-55
 
I think the Raven is a great tire in the rear because it was a dual compound and the profile give you a wide contact patch in the center. Don't have to have matching front and rear tires you know. Can I suggest a 110 front for street use?
