Sisters at work this morning!

Nice. Their 1998 sister is at work today too. But sitting on her sidestand all by herself. Were they trying to stand up straight and tall (hand on hip) for the picture taking? lol.

I always center-stand my bike for work-day parking, in case it rains. Had an instance of a rainy day and water ran around the tank and dripped into one of the spark plug wells causing a short. Rough ride home until engine heat evaporated the water. Center-standing does prevent runoff from dripping into the wells.

Good tip thanks!

The 1997 sister at work today. 28F this morning, maybe 40F by quitting time, thank goodness for heated jacket and gloves. Wool socks, dungarees with no liner, legs don't get cold, fairing extenders work pretty good.
Redundant layers packed in the bike in case of a heated gear failure. 35 minute commute barring any traffic woes.
Good therapy to leave work and drop all previous thoughts and concentrate on the road ahead.
Ride until we get the first snow/ice where they put down the juice on the road that causes rusting.
