size of front a el Allen head bolt.

An easy way to create a 12mm hex driver is to buy a longish 12 L-shaped Allen wrench, then cut off an inch or inch and a half from the long leg with a cutoff wheel tool.
Then you can put that little stub in your toolkit and a regular 12mm wrench or socket can be used to turn the axle.

Just did a front tire change. Used my 12mm before but for the life of me, couldn’t find it. Have moved since then.
:-[ Went to Auto parts stores, Lowe’s and Homer and even tractor supply. No sockets, L handle wrench.
Could picture my socket, just could not find it. Go thru toolbox and boxes in the basement multiple times.
Just when I was ready to give up, I pictured with my large socket wrench. >:D
Well sure enough, one more time downstairs and there it was :))
