Quick run up to NY state visit some falls, nice roads.

Aunt Sarah, Hector, Taughannock, Ithaca and Chittenango Falls.

Taughannock is the tallest single drop falls east of the Rockies. Lots of fun roads and great scenery. Anyone wants a route PM me.

I was unaware, until looking for a destination this weekend, that there are so many waterfalls in the state of New York.

Years ago we took a trip to Corning NY. We were delightfully surprised by the amount of parks and waterfalls we got to see. A few of these parks had swimming holes in the basin of the falls that were maintained by the park service. Taughannok falls wooded walk to see the falls was amazing to see the river bed was solid rock and as flat as a pool table with intermittent places were it fractured and dropped a few feet. Supposedly that was the ocean floor a long time ago. We have meant to travel back to that area and do more exploring but haven't. Thanks for posting this.
