Hey, all-

This Saturday is a lunch run to the fantastic Sunrise Cantina in Sunrise Beach, MO.  Please see the calendar for more details.

For KC area folks who wish to group together (ripped off from Rick's post in July): the meet-up point is the Quik Trip at 71HWY and 150HWY in Grandview across from Gail's Harley Davidson.

Kick Stands up at 9:15am.  This gives plenty of time to get to Sunrise Beach by 12 noon.

There are a lot of nice routes to take. I'll post 2 of them here.

I'll most likely chose the more southern route, I-49 & Hwy 7 through Harrisonville, Clinton & Warsaw.  Definitely the most interesting route of the 3 (I hate going through Sedalia!).  Pit stop in Clinton along the way.

See you Saturday!

Little breezy but what a great weekend for riding. So much I decided on a whim to join up with Tony on his Rally mapping run. Tony wore me slick! Safe to say Tony's feeling much better now.

Tony had some nice route selected that took us from Lake of the Ozarks to around Stockton lake then continuing around the Pomme De Terre area. Tony's route all too conveniently passed through Iconium (Home of the Peach Float) Oh yea, we made that stop for sure to top off a good lunch. After that break Tony and I split off from the group to head southwest. After picking up necessities (toiletries and clothes for me) at Dollar General we were off on some nice twisties south of Osceola.

Before running out of daylight searching for a vacancy due to a fishing Tourney on Stockton, we secured a room in Bolivar, found a nice BBQ joint down the road then had a good meal to end off the day. Then I ran over a poor copperhead catching the heat off the blacktop. Target fixated right over him. Oops. :-\

Next day we split up. Tony routed back to Rally central and I went west and found more twisties to add to the route on my way to scope out some camp sites for future fishing adventures.

Tony has a keen eye for good roads. I cant wait to see the rest of his routes!! :great:
