Ride over three Passes, Chinook, White and Cayuse passes. Not a long ride 214 miles. See event calendar for details.
 
Ya know, there looks to be time for a grill session at Charlie's house when this ride is over. There are 3 grocery stores and a Costco within four miles of my house, so folks are more than welcome to do a little shopping after the ride and help create a pot luck dinner at my house.

NOTE: My wife runs a no-shoes-in-the-house establishment.  If you want to come for dinner, don't wear socks you don't want other people to see.
 
Hi guys... 2nd year of COG membership, but first event and post.  I've been lurking for several years, and I'm looking forward to finally meeting some fellow COG members and swapping tall tales.

I am newer than you Less but this will be my third ride with the COG, you re in for a good time and sure you'll be watching the calendar for the next form here on out. :motonoises:

It was a great day for a NWCOG ride with Mt Rainier looking splendid in arctic white.
A mostly casual ride with some tourist traffic.

We miss you too Nicole!! Definitely great weather this time around. Last time I did this Rainier ride plus Skate Creek was with you, Dan and Charlie! Hope you're doing well and able to get back on the bike sometime soon!

Thanks for the great ride, guys.  It was a blast... only a two pass blast for me, though, as I ended up taking hwy 12 to I-5 instead of going over Cayuse with you. My day's mileage was 386...

Les, the rest of us ended up with two passes...
Decided to do Skate Cr (FR 52) me thinking to avoid the traffic on 410 to Enumscratch..  well we were behind 4  medium slow vehicles almost the whole way to hwy 706.
Just enjoy the pace and smell the flowers.......

It was a good day to ride.  I think we actually bagged Cayuse on our way up to Chinook, so I think we can claim three passes.  After doing that ride I went down to Stevenson to get a head start on checking out some roads for the Volcano Ride in two weeks, so yesterday's mileage total for me was 490.
