TPMS tech session for C-14’s

Once again Jeff Kerkow (LSGiant) and Paul Holman (Bud) are offering their time, magic, and technological skills to clone your C-14 TPMS sensors so you can have them for your next tire change. You do NOT have to remove your tires for this, but you will need to have your bike present at the tech session.

While there is no charge, you will need to obtain and bring WITH you to the rally the Autel sensors. The sensors will NOT be available at the rally.

You can buy them online from Amazon or possibly from your local auto parts store. You will need two of these units ( they will come one in a box).

Jeff and Bud will weigh in on questions and answers. Many thanks Jeff and Bud!

If you have working sensors it is easier to program as both Bud and I can do it. I can only do working sensors.

I will bring my KDS. I don't have a cable to connect to the 08-09 models though. If anyone knows the correct part number for that cable post it and maybe I'll buy one.

This is a great gift from these guys. It’ll save you the cost of your rally fee and then some over the cost of OEM sensors. (Thanks guys)

Greetings and thanks for doing this TPMS programming last year and offering to do so, again. In NM, you helped me on my 2013 C14 (Black) and you were able to read old front and program new front, which I put in next tire change and it works fine but the back one had a dead battery, it couldn't be done so I sold the other new one to someone else. I kept the one from my back tire when changed and I'm ready to buy another one. If I bring the old one (in hand) and the new one, please confirm that it will work to view the old one (with dead battery) and use it to program the new one. Is there a number on the old sensor that you need to read that allows you to program the new one? (or is it connected by cable or something else?).

When you confirm that my new one will allow you to program a new one, I will place the order and bring it and the old one with me to Helen, GA.

Thank you guys for doing this last year and this upcoming rally.

Brock

If you have the old one in hand, there's a sticker with the ID on it. It can be dead and I can program an autel sensor that the bike will see as the OEM sensor. I also have a KDS, so even if the sensor is installed and dead, IIRC, the sensor ID is still in the KIPASS module and I can access that. One way or another, you should be covered.

My original rear TPMS sensor has a clear tag and I already got the Autel replacement so I'll bring both (or can I leave the old one, now that I have this photo?). Thanks, Guys, I really appreciate your help on this.

I have new old stock Kawi ones that need to be installed and programmed to the bike, my potted front is dead most of the time, and rear goes out sporadically. If I get these installed have the codes available for the rally can they be synched?

Yes. Take pictures of the labels before you install.

Thanks goes out to Bud for reading my friends ID codes out of the ECU using his KDS. ( His old OEM sensors had been discarded so there was only one way to get the the original ID codes ----> a KDS) Today I programmed/cloned the two Autel sensors. Very easy to do. I also learned that I can use my programmer to read the codes right from the wheel .. as long as the batteries are still active. Get yours read before the batteries die so you have the codes for the future when you do want to clone Autels to your bike. https://a.co/d/04XvYnkf
