Hey Gang,

I'm hoping to secure a C10 in the near future after being away from riding for a decade after selling my old C10. As I was making the decision whether or not to return to riding, I promised myself that I would take at least one advance riding course each year to stay sharp and develop my skills. I'm planning to take an MSF Basic Rider Course refresher in the next month or two but wanted to start looking for some other options for the fall or spring 2022.

Any suggestions of courses, classes, or training opportunities would be appreciated. I'm in the Atlanta area (just barely) and not opposed to a weekend trip farther out for worthwhile training.

Thanks in advance!
Chris

Just saw the COG Sport Touring School down in Florida - if it happens next year, that sounds like a great course!
We have not planned it yet, but Doug Re has done it five years in a row, so it's likely to happen in Jan/Feb of 2022. We'll be planning for next year later in the fall of THIS year.

I've been trying to stir some interest for a similar school in Texas.
So far, haven't seen enough interest to do it.

I attended Doug's school in Florida (x2) and had a blast.
Doug does an excellent job!!!
But Jennings Florida is quite a distance from Houston.
So, I've found one that is done in Texas called Ride Smart, and have been talking to Doug about the idea.

Ride safe, Ted

Thanks gang - any non-Connie specific options anyone can recommend in the SE?

def will keep my eyes open for the Jennings event.

If you make the rally, find and ask Mike Anthony about the slow speed handling course he took a couple of years ago through a HD dealer in
Atlanta area.

I am on Track Day Winners email list. I got one a while back asking about interest in a non sport bike track day at our local track. You might check out their website and see waht on the schedule. I know they do a bunch of tracks in the southeast

Since there is a MSF class near you, see if they offer other courses like the MSF BRC2 or ARC. The MSF web site list all available curriculums and can search to see if there is a specific course provider near you: https://msf-usa.org/students.aspx

In North Carolina, this is offered free.
I’m attending in July. Been riding for over 35+ years and never had a riding course. Never too late to learn.

Found this in Georgia
My husband did a ride with Durham police. He got a lot out of it.
