Under Mirror light setup

I was able to purchase the under mirror holders( purchased on Ebay) and Stedi MC5 lights.  I'm now looking to do install and was wondering what the best electrical connections would be from some in the forum that have done this.  Either direct connection or a switch connection? 
Looking for any tips from the group with pro's/con's.

can you link the light holders you got for the mirrors? im interested in doing the same setup.
