Just watched the qualifing times for the MotoGP race tomorrow. Looks like it will be
a Stoner/Honda walk in the park. Stoner was over a second faster then second place
Pedrosa. Spies is starting from 3rd with DePuniet the highest Ducati in 4th. Bautista
got the Suzuki up to 5th with Rossi and Hayden 6th & 7th.
Josh Hayes who is replacing Edwards for Tech 3 was last and 4.1 seconds off the
pace with Lorenzo's replacement just ahead of him.

The race is on Speed tomorrow morning at 8:00 east coast time then again in the afternoon
with the Moto2 race following it.

I'm hoping the first test which starts on Tuesday? shows the new Ducati's to be more competitive
and the CRT's able to keep up with the full prototypes.  :motonoises:

I scanned the qualifying results a few times looking for Simoncelli, just out of habit.  Then I sorta sighed.

Hope the Moment Of Noise is good though.

Spies in 3rd looks good but the Hondas just seem to be a level up on the rest (speaking of, what's with Dovi??).  Not sure if you saw, but Bautista had the Suzuki in 1st during wet practice.  That boy will be doing something in the future!

The Hondas are pretty impressive even though I'm not a fan of them. I guess Dovi has had enough
and it will be interesting to see what he can do on the Tech 3 Yamaha. Bautista has that Suzuki
working well this year and he would be a lot higher in the points except for a few crashes. I wonder
if Suzuki is coming back next year with a 1000cc bike and if they might bring Hopper back as a second
rider?
Can't wait to see all the new riders and CRT teams and figure out who's on what for the 2012 season.

Still praying that Ducati will listen to Burgess/Rossi and come up with something that really goes
around corners  :motonoises:
