Thanks for contacting me and the sale, first ride was very nice!
I don't have an long distance on my touring seat but I have not been sliding into the tank so far. Did notice the battery cover on my 09 gets really hot. Seems to sit better too. Did I say no sliding into the tank? I have only managed to do about 35 miles one way then about 35 miles back. One of these days I'll run a tank of fuel through her and see what happens.
