1998 vs 2003

Will parts (especailly body parts like the fairing & gauge hood & pockets) from a 1998 Connie fit a 2003 Connie?

The fairing pieces are interchangeable as long as you follow one rule: 2003 fairing parts should be used in lieu of the God awful 1998 Barney purple parts. There are no exceptions to this rule.

The '98 will be missing the fork protectors that the 99 and later had. Otherwise it is the same. Jay - you may want to revise your statement. '99 was the year of the Barney Bike. -- Steve Smith, COG #3184 COG Northeast Area Director (somewhere in south central CT)

Steve, I blame my last post on the lack of coffee that time in the morning. The statement still stands though. No Barney purple....ever. 1998 Windsor green doesn't stand a chance compared to the 2003 red either. Have a great Easter holiday!
