Ok, y'all may or may not have known about me "moving home", to my stompin grounds, which were so before I ever became a COG'r down in Va. (props go out to GBYII, Pat s, Russell, and my other southern bro's)....the time's they are-a-changin'


got cool digs here in Oh, bi-i-ig camping area behind the house, and this year promises to make the central area, if you participate, a larger and more well known spot on the COG map.

1) planning on a spring (OHIO SPRING) ride and rally....
2)Midsummer event, with the scheduling and mapping for those wishing to attend to complete an Iron Butt 1000 around Lake Erie.... (thursday eve arrival, sunday departure from rally.. and your ride is in between...:))

and,
3) a fall folliage/deerdodging ride....



shoot me a p/m, I'm sending the feelers out now, and plan to get with my "new" area director shortly, to co-ordinate....I'm sure he will be exstatic to some someone waking up, and committing.... to doing sumpin' up here..... ;D ;)

can Y'all camp back here?

Not too far from one of my accounts in Covington..Too bad there are no places around there that rent bikes so I can fly & Ride.
You're not too far from some excellent riding south of you.

      I'm interested, but it all depends on.............
    1: where you HAVE the Spring ride-n-rally(I'm guessing H.Q. is your place?)
    2: what dates you're planning to host it.... (don't want to clash w/ the Wolverine Spring opener)
        shortly after the 1st of the year & I have the r-t-e schedule loosely defined, I'll shoot you a pm
    If you want to host a breakfast ride-to-eat somewhere around Ashland/Wooster/Loudonville area, please 
    post up! Actually, Bee-Bops Grill in Wilmot near the US62/US250 intersection serves up an AWESOME 
    breakfast.....hint, hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more!
 
I'm in Brunswick (N. Medina County) depending on dates I may be game.  We're bidding our time off for the next year right now, my last pick is this Sunday so we'll see.

What I meant was that the "Event" is not far from Hocking Hills..
 
25 miles east of Cleveland....within 5 miles of lake Erie

There's some decent roads in the area, not a lot of up down, but some nice twists, and beautiful areas.
plus, cool places to see...RockNRoll hall of fame, NFL hall of fame, great wine country east, roundtrip day ride to AMA hall,
Amish country...(Pittsburg ..... :rotflmao:)
I'll put these together with Dean right after new years..... :great:
 
work schedule has had it's effects once again, but fear not, I'm working on some plans, and will go over them with our AAD folks to make sure we don't double-dip dates... :rotflmao:

Any idea on a date yet?
Planning on taking Connie on a business trip to Covington..Would like to make this work if possible
 
In the words of Judge Smales, "WELL, WE'RE WAITING"! ;D Ohio's tough, always has been as long as I've been in COG. Its real hard to get anybody together in the same place at the same time.

and thought wtf? Then I eat my sammich that momma made at 5:30 a.m. for me so i don't have a guilt complex
