2016 Bun Cooler and an enroute Saddle Sore 1000?

Just registered for the Bun Cooler :great:. and while mapping out a route, it turns out to be 1150 - 1300 miles depending on how I choose to go.  So I'm seriously considering an entry level Iron Butt ride ( Saddle Sore 1000) between San Diego and the Lewis & Clark Resort in Idaho, either May 12th going North or May 15th headed South. Any SoCal Coggers find this appealing...
