I’m selling my 2016 Kawasaki Concours (with 40K miles) which sustained damage when I hit a deer. The insurance totaled that bike, and I purchased another C14. Damage to the 2016 Concours was mainly cosmetic, so I decided to buy back this bike from the insurance company. The headlight assembly and radiator were damaged, so I replaced these. The 2016 bike is now ridable and runs great! I took it out for an extended ride today (Sept 9) with no issues.
The good points are: 1. You get a complete ridable bike at very low cost. 2. The engine runs terrific, it had valve clearance adjustments and spark plugs replaced at 37K. 3. Transmission, brakes, clutch, etc all work fine. 4. KiPass works, one passive and one active fob included. 5. Lights, display, speedometer, tachometer, TPMS are all working. 6. I’m the original owner and have clear title.
Bad points are: 1. It has a salvage title. 2. Fairing, saddlebags, windshield, and mirrors are missing. 3. Needs tires.
Selling this as a complete unit, not parting out. Price is based on you picking up the bike in Lake Stevens WA. It is ridable and currently licensed. I could deliver to other locations (if not over 999 miles) for an additional fee. This bike would be an excellent option for someone having a Concours that needs expensive engine work but has good fairings and saddlebags. It would also make a good naked or track bike.
