50K

Sport Tourer
Turned 50K this morning on the ride to work. Got her with 5K on it just shy of 4 years ago. 45K over the last 4 years. Not quite as much as some of you, but she gets used. Does the daily commute even in the winters here in the Pacific NorthWet. And does a number of trips throughout the summer. 2003 Concours, 50K COG #6953 IBA 28004 http://mysite.verizon.net/slybones/Concours/connieMain.htm

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

Sly, Congraatulaations! I should hit that next year (I hope). Maybe this year if I'm lucky! Eddie Sanford, FL 2005 Concours 1969 Triumph Bonneville AMA# 686667 COG# 7073 CDA# 0136 http://picasaweb.google.com/Eddie753

Way to go, Slybones ! I've only 54K km (33K mi.) on my '05, but I'll surely ride more often now that I've installed the 7th gear with your help and encouragement ! It's a so much different ride now, as you know !

I really wish some buyer would look at my odometer and say "Wow, it only has 38000 miles on it?" ;) Congrats Fred!

slybones,it is also refreshing to hear you speak of 50k like it was nothing on a connie, it does give me hope after all the negative stuff on my last ride.keep it going.

My '04 has less than 4K (I'm picking it up on Saturday). I have a lot of catching up to do and only a 6 month riding season. But I'll have a good headstart riding it over 2K home. :) Grizzly

I am glad you guys brought this back up. I forgot about that 50K sticker. 2003 Concours, 54K COG #6953 IBA 28004 http://home.comcast.net/~slybones/Concours/connieMain.htm

Congrats, Sly. :) Got to watch mine flip over 47k on the way back from my class reunion a couple weeks ago. Can't believe I've had her for nearly six years! And man that's alot of commuting... :8o: ;) Steve K. '02 Concours 'Locomotive Breath' COG# 6550 AMA# 965469 'No matter where you go, there you are...'

Congrats Slybones, I too will be sending off for my sticker. My Connie just rolled over 50K the middle of July. She is an 05 that gets riden nearly every day unless the weather is really bad. I too don't ride as much as some and unfortunately most of my miles are from commuting and not long trips, but I'll get to that some day. I am happy for now just getting ride even if its just to work and back. John Ashton 05 Concours COG #6513 Ft Worth, TX. John Ashton Ft. Worth, TX COG 6513 AMA 1078826 05 Concours

<quote> Sticker? We get a prize for riding? Cool. What other odometer milestones are there? Later, Charlie COG# 8048 </quote> 50K and 100K I have them both and I am working on the 150K sticker(assuming one exists!) Right now I'm at 130,000 or there abouts. Today at least HA!
