85 kawasaki zl900 eliminator

Going to look at a 85 zl900 with 8500mi. on it for $800. My concern is I know some 86 concours have had a problem with valve seats and I was wondering if this might be a problem with this bike also or if anyone has heard of any other problems with this bike anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a head from the 1985 ZL900 I bought last year. If the one you are looking at does not run, be careful. The one I bought had a spun rod bearing. The head also had some valve that were sunk into the head. If fixed the problem by installing a 2003 ZG1000 motor.
It runs good and I added the stick coils from a C-14 and it runs REALLY well.

I also have a 1987 ZL1000. The radiator covers are discontinued, and the chrome air box covers are about $75 a side but still available.
