Adding driving/ fog lights

I'd like to add driving lights or fog lights or both to my C14.  Looking to see what anyone would recommend in that regard, especially based on what you yourself have used.  Thanks.

Twisted throttle or Revzilla.
Both sell the Denali D2 lights. Small but exceptionally well made and very bright. I have been using the Denali brand on all my bikes for 6+ years with the only issue being the result of my KTM coming off a transport at 70mph on I70 in Kansas.
Yes I know you can buy lights for 20$ on eBay and they are almost always worth less than that. I spend what I need to ONE TIME and never worry about it again. My new H2SE has a new set of d2 's on it and it has only 200 miles!

Ok Matt, what did I miss, when did you get an H2?  How do you like it, when do we get a detailed report of pros and cons, if any? Pictures?

To ditto Matt I have had Denali DMs on my C14, actually both of them won't think of any other brand.  They are bright and reliable and, cute too!
I have them connected to a PDM60 to turn on 10 seconds after the motor starts and off immediately when the key is turned off (not the motor).  Works great.

Superbrightled.com... been using them for 8 years on 2 different connies.....no issues...low power draw.

A lot of people go for Denali (as seen above :) ) or Clearwater.  Both are good lights.  I just think they are way overpriced for what you get.

I've used the ADVMonster Model 30 lights on two bikes so far.  Just looked at their web page.  Gosh, they are down now to $30 each.  https://stores.advmonster.com/model-30-led-off-road-spot-light/  That's a deal!

What I like about the Model 30 is that it is a 10 degree spot beam, not a flood light.  I had mine on the last bike mounted on some simple brackets under the mirrors and could aim them out and down.  It kept them from blinding oncoming drivers, yet I could get the light out at or just beyond the low beam headlight light pattern.  In about 30,000 miles of riding on each bike in all kinds of Seattle weather, they looked as good when I sold the bikes, as when I put them on.  They are a quality light.

Over on the NT-Owners forum (Honda NT700V), there was a discussion about lighting and a Twisted Throttle rep responded.  He was making some claims about how bright his Denali lights were.  I mentioned that the lights he was recommending only had about 900 lumens, compared to the 1500 lumens of the Model 30.  He then got off on some wild claims that their lights were still brighter and that lumens wasn't a good indicator. 

There just happened to be another NT owner in the area and he had the Denali lights on his bike.  We found an unlit parking lot nearby and did a side-by-side comparison.  It wasn't even close.  Lumens are lumens and the Model 30s were considerably brighter.  I have pictures I can find if anyone is interested.

My BMW F800GT has Clearwater Darlas installed from the first owner.  They are grossly expensive for what you get.  I found that one of the brackets and one of the lights had the paint flaking off, and the aluminum underneath was corroding.  Great lights, but you shouldn't have that happen when you pay that kind of money.

If I was looking for new riding lights, I think I'd go for the ADVMonster Model 55.  It puts out 3000 lumens with a 7 degree primary beam.  The lens on both the Model 55 and Model 30 have what I call a halo effect.  There's illumination off to the side that is much less than the primary spot beam, but enough to light the side of the road like a flood light will.  It just doesn't blind oncoming drivers.  Cost on the Model 55 is $75.

And just to be clear, I have no financial interest in this company.  I just like to pass on "good deals".  :)
